"I had the pleasure changing #6 sparkplug..a couple interior panel rivets popped out..replaced factory radio, new tires...the engine runs very good- nice acceleration when you need it, i change the oil every three to five months ..
(Castrol hihgh milage)...Recommend.using Denzo sparkplugs....i use either mid grade (89%) Or high octane (93$)... the vehichle performs much more efficiantly...
1 bottle seafoam or Marvel mystery oil with fill up...The gas milage.is not that.great ..but i love it 5 stars..
"Outstandingly amazing!! Rides a bit like a truck but considering I use it to tow and throw the kayaks on I can't complain. Gas mileage is so so, usually 16/19. Great handling, turns on a dime, altho I wouldn't recommend it at high speeds with plenty of room for everybody"
"I bought this little beast used in 2016 with 186K miles as my "weekend adventure" vehicle. My other car is a Prius. I can't get over how tough this car is. It likes to be driven hard on rough 4wd roads. With no modifications I have driven over some very rough terrain and driven through at least 2 feet of standing water with no problem. My kids love the stadium seating in the back and the trunk area fits camping gear and the dog very nicely. My kids really enjoy riding in the little tray on the top when we are on rural dirt roads. It gets poor gas mileage and is somewhat slow on the highway, but I knew that going in. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this car. "
I prefer the round headlights on the 2002 vs. the squarish headlights on the newer model. It has a sporty, tough look.
Amazing off-roader for the price. Poor gas mileage and lack of highway power are a little bit of an offset.
"it is a good vehicle, one of my favorite things about it is the limited amount of electronics and other useless crap they cram into vehicles today "

"Great solid and efficient. Cool and classy for young outdoor enthusiasts. Not enough room in seats for big people is my only small jab. "
