Nice little truck
"This vehicle is the 3.0 liter, 6 cylinder supercab model. It is 2 wheel drive with an automatic transmission. When I bought it in November, 2017 it only had 36,000 miles on it. I have added a trailer hitch and it is perfect for towing my 1000 pound cargo trailer. The gas mileage isn't great (17-20 mpg without the trailer) but that's just because most of my previous vehicles had 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder engines and only sipped gas. It's my first Ford and I'm pleased with the way it handles. Getting into the back seat is hard because it doesn't have back doors but besides that it's a fun little truck to drive."
Interior

4.0

The interior is tan and black. Good condition for its age. Cruise control on the steering wheel. Power windows and door locks. CD player with AM/FM radio. No satellite radio option.
Exterior

4.0

Good shape except for a small ding in the driver's side door. It's red with the EDGE logo in orange on the side
Performance

4.0

Not as peppy as I thought it would be. It seems only slightly more powerful than a 4 cylinder. Turning radius doesn't seem that great either but I can work with that.
Family

3.0

It's not family friendly. As I stated before, getting in and out of the back seat is difficult.
Cost

I haven't taken it in for any repairs yet. It runs good. Gas mileage is disappointing.

Low miles and rust beats age
"Small trucks in top function is more useful than Beauty and cost. Must be able to use it hard without breaking. Everything works correctly and with low mileage."
Interior

4.0

Every item clean and not over used. It is comfortable to drive.
Exterior

3.0

1 door was replaced due to a minor dent and was repainted to match the color but can be detected. The door needed to be slightly adjusted to work perfectly. Nothing ugly anywhere.
Performance

4.0

Performance is perfectly adequate, the 4 by 4 works correctly, and there is enough power to tow and full snow if needed. Drives up to 1/2 ton, big V6 enough and decent gas mileage.
Family

4.0

Heat and AC are very good, front seat very comfortable, back seat is small.
Cost

5.0

The used truck was one third of a new one, and I expect to be able to run it for 5 years and sell it for what I paid for it.

Great small truck
"This is my fourth Ranger, I like them so much. Never had any mechanical issues with any of them, despite holding onto them until they were 15+ years old. Unfortunately tho, the frames always end up rusting out in these Vermont winters, or I'd keep driving them for another 15."

"Perfect fit for my son's first vehicle. It has plenty of space, rides very well and is super clean. The bed size is large enough to haul anything I really need and the engine size is ideal for good gas mileage."
