"I love it! I've never owned a Jeep before and I find that I feel more in control of the car when its raining or snowing. It stays in its lane and I'm not sliding all over the highway like I did with my car. I don't think that going forward I will always own a Jeep"
I only own it since October but so far so good. It had 2 recalls that I just had addressed.
Yes, we all fit nicely in the vehicle and the area in the back is very roomy.
"I like my Liberty, it has been a great SUV for my needs and still brings a smile to my face while driving it. Biggest problem is the rust magnet factor; and it's not because it's in Pittsburgh either. "
Comfortable front seat area. Backseat passengers have cramped leg room. Cargo area along with fold down seats worked well for my hauling needs.
Inner and outer rocker panels rust through plus the entire rear underbody. The Liberty design does not allow adequate drainage to prevent excessive rust problems. Alloys rusted from the start and caused problems with tire rotations.
I've been pleased with the performance. Easy to put in/out of 4wd. Just regular wear and tear engine- wise.
Backseat area tight for adults.
Not bad, the areas that caused repeated problems: replaced fan resister 3 times; alloys rusted along with nuts, calipers, balljoints and brakes, multiple replacements of these parts.
