"As a chronically broke young adult, acquired my first vehicle with no problems, as well as an upgrade from a passenger car. I taught myself a variety of mechanical knowledge of maintenance and often drained my bank account to pathetic levels keeping up with care of the old fella, but it's always been worth it. The suspension issues were a result of original shocks kept no replaced, and a fender bender from previous owner. It leaks everything, window regulators are junk design, and the thing is a bucket of rust in a place of harsh winters. But there isn't a better mud truck or winter beater to be asked for. It has the muscle, design, features I require. I need no truck bed and the collapsible seats offer all the storage space I ever need, and the trailer hitch if I ever tackle any bigger job. The perfect size for me, with maintenance I can manage myself with minimal equipment. It has all the dipsticks missing on all recent vehicles. I figured the real reason we own cars is to have fun, and I feel like there's nowhere I can go when I'm in it. Tight cornering and nimble like no other truck, but with a truck engine. 4WD and ground clearance make it fuel thirsty, but rugged and versatile that i don't foresee anything in the price group it is in compare. I keep fresh fluids up, cleaning and changing oil often, and it hadnt quit on me yet. - 03 liberty sport with 3.7L engine"
