Satisfied With Purchase
"After researching the 996 it was the most affordable 911 but has items that need addressing if no previous record of maintenance. I went in to this purchase with this knowledge finding a lower mileage 996 and replacing things like the clutch, IMS, RMS and AOS. The car is more of a weekender and drives beautifully. "

Everything was intact and in great condition and working order for a 16 year old car.

Runs very well performance wise compared to today’s cars.

It’s a four seater but don’t expect to be able to have larger kids in the back seats. .

The 996 is the most affordable off the 911 model. If you are willing to address its short comings then its a great value IMO.

NOT a "utility vehicle!"
"Hands down, the best driving, most fun car I have ever owned! Always wanted a Porsche, and finally bought a well cared for 996 C4 Cabrio in 2017! Great and fun car to drive. I have never owned a car that garnered as many positive comments than this one...never. The "secret" is that Porschephiles don't like or want one (they say), but everyone else seems to drool all over it! Oh well, they are relatively cheap, and sure I could have brought a nice Toyota Corolla for the same money...but WHY? I drive a Porsche now!!! Finally!"

Premium leather and sound. Just wish it was not black!

What can I say. I think it is one of the prettiest cars around, especially with the top down.

It's not a "Turbo," but who cares at 150 MPH?

Just me and the wife, and not a lot of luggage...sorry!

Crummy (PREMIUM) gas mileage, expensive to maintain, but who cares? It cost me less than $25K with 45,000 miles on it, plus I spent another $3500 for a new and improved IMS bearing. But what other car makes you smile this much for less than $30K total?

"2003 911 4S. This is an awesome car. The 2003 4S seems to be reasonably priced compared to the older models. Performance that you would expect from a Porsche. Very pleased with this purchase."

"Great looking and driving car that I use for fun and would say it's the best bang for the buck when it comes to a turbo Porsche."
