User Reviews for 2003 Volkswagen Passat

Engine Design Flaw
"You'd think Volkswagon could have made a better design for the Passat engine that is technically upside down. After a coolant flush, a bubble forms and the heater/defroster won't work. What a hassle to relieve the bubble in the system. Design flaw!"
Clean, neat, higher standard leather.
10 years old and some oxidation
Engine design flaw means defroster doesn't work for cold start mornings.
Very costly for the dealer to make repairs and get a new fab, which is integrated into the key at $285 each.
"Amazing. If you keep it in good shape and stay on top of maintenance, this car is powerful and reliable. The W8 can take mountains, corners, and day trips like nothing and has the power to pass whenever I want. Not to mention the interior is beautiful and the noises she makes are superb. " Read Less

"The car is a W8 4Motion wagon. I've always wanted a VW with the 8 cylinder engine and all wheel drive and the wagon is kinda rare with these options. The car was $40,000 new and I ended up purchasing it for $3,700 and will end up putting approximately $2000 in it to get it back to excellent condition. It was a good buy and I traveled from WV where I live to NC to purchase it. " Read Less
