My first vehicle
"When I was looking for my first vehicle i was really hoping for a specific truck, but the prices were much higher on trucks that just didnt seem very reliable or worth buying. I stumbled upon my first generation Tundra on accident and my first thought was "no way im getting a Toyota", I looked up everything I could find about these trucks and saw almost nothing bad. Further digging and research shows several of these vehicles (with proper maintenance and care) have made it to over 1 million miles on the Odometer. I checked the Carfax and found this one was well maintained and decided to give it a try. From the moment I drove it off the lot during the test drive I fell in love, ive spent some extra money over the past year of owning this vehicle and made sure its in tip-top shape, and am so pleased that I often tell people "First Gen Tundra's have been said to be the 'million mile truck' and Im going to get mine there, or im going to die trying" once this one is paid in full, id love to be able to pick up a brand new Tundra, while keeping this one until either it dies, or I do, whichever comes first (most likely the latter)."

Plenty of space, very comfortable, has a nice sort of 'homey' feel to it that makes you regret not being in it any chance you get.
Exterior

5.0

Smooth body style with plenty of different customizations to be made to make yours stand out.
Performance

(Never used it for towing purposes) Runs smooth, purrs like a dream engine, the V8 4.7L has great power behind it and has gotten me anywhere and everywhere ive needed to be, including up old overgrown logging roads trying to show off on dates.

Plenty of cab room, plenty of bed space, perfect vehicle for a camping trip in the mountains, trip to the beach, or cross country road trip. The seats are all comfortable, pretty sure Cruise Control comes stock, and i dont often feel this safe in most vehicles.

Maintanence is far and few between when it comes to most Toyota's, these trucks dont often need large repairs unless you arent keeping up with proper maintanence on the vehicle, the only reason i choose 4 stars out of 5 is the fuel mileage. It can be pretty low at times and sometimes it feels like im blowing through tanks of gas way faster than I should be, but so is the life of owning a truck, i suppose.

Initially cost a lot of money an time spent fighting the dealership to fix the things that were reported to be wrong. Toyota did come to my aid on some of the problems and I thank they for that.
