"Just got my new to me farm truck. It’s 2005 2500HD with just 51,000 miles. Got for 11,700! The only problem is... I bought it at a FORD dealership... So... I just had to wash it really good "
Manual window cranks... Double man card points if your truck has these...
It was a commercial vehicle with a wrap... the dealership was not too careful in how they peeled it off. I would have rather they left it on rather then scratch and gouge up the paint
It doesn't really have any miles on it... Its more like driving a new truck with out the new truck smell
Its a used truck with only 51,000 miles because it was driven... for only $11,700.00 In a world full of 40,000 & 50,000 starter trucks and some closing on 100,000 (for a truck). Don't see a better deal for someone that wants a truck not a luxury car in a truck body
"Just take your time and shop around. It took me a few months to find this truck. I decided to wait since I couldn't find a decent older truck in my price range, but I decided to look one last time on the following day and there it was. The owner just posted the add the previous night, so I called right away and drove 1-1/2 hrs to check it out and bought it. I get many compliments from my friends & people I meet regarding my purchase."
Very clean for a 2005
Pretty nice and few little scratches and small dents. This is not a new truck, so I'm really happy with it.
The truck sounds & runs great for 185,000 miles and no leaks.
I paid more than the normal value for the year, but compared to other truck I saw before this one...it is worth it.
Honest and reliable, don't worry about mileage, it will be what it is....
"Well built, this year seems to have a propensity for structural rust below the body. Not an issue for us as we operate a marina with plenty of ways to deal with rust. The body is solid, no electrical issues, engine very reliable, although a bit thirsty. While it rides like a truck, we take it on plenty of long trips and always arrive feeling good."
