Car Perfection
"I bought my 2005 911S in 2007. I really thought I’d own it a few months or a year and then sell it because I’d “checked the Porsche box”. Now 12 years later, I still have it and love it. It might just be automobile perfection. Makes me smile every day when I start it up and head to work. My favorite things about it: instant response, perfect ergonomics - every control is right where it should be, wonderful sound, beautiful looks, extraordinary reliability. And I could go on!"

Stunning. It’s a beautiful, classic look.

Outstanding responsiveness in all respects. I love the directly linear response of the engine to my right foot. No lag or sag, just instant forward response.

It’s absolutely not family friendly for carrying much of anything. But my adult kids just love it that I have the car so they can drive it every now and then!

I have had almost no mechanical issues at all in 12 years, but I only drive 2-3000 miles per year. Early years’ depreciation is material, but it is maintaining a higher value as it ages than just about any other comparable car.

Great and fun car!
"Always wanted one and finally took the plunge. This is an everyday sports car that is really fun to drive. Tremendous power, tight steering, feel the road, classic Porsche style and a head turner. The only negative is the OEM PCM package. This includes the radio, NAV, and a few other capabilities. You cannot upgrade the installed package to add sirius and the NAV function is not the best. If you want those two things and more modern connectivity to iphone/android device and the extras in todays communication standards, you need to upgrade to an aftermarket system (Pioneer, Alpine, etc.)"

An older 911 can be a bargain if it was taken care of. They have never lost that classic Porsche style.

"Purchase the car because that's the model I was looking for 911 Carrera S. Advice to other buyers. If thinking of purchasing a vehicle. Highly recommend two things: 1. Get the CARFAX. 2. Have the car inspected. Is well money spend for a better decision."

Was concerned when I purchased it because I was thinking it would not be comfortable enough for the wife because her Lexus is very comfortable but to my surprise she really likes the car ... on the other hand I love it everything about it.

Cost was reasonable for the very low mileage and the so many extra option. Plus the care was very well maintained.

Incredible as expected from a Porsche. The handling is off the charts specially in corners and the acceleration as well. The car is more comfortable than expected.

"I've owned several Porsches in the past and after selling my 2005 Boxster, I decided to upgrade to a Carrera Cabriolet. After buying my Base 2005 Carrera Cabrio with a 6-speed transmission, I'd reccommend that buyers interested in the 911 look into the Carrera S model. The increase in horsepower and torque combined with some other benefits make that the model to chose. "
