Great car
"Great car - drives well, very safe, heated seats. Also looks good, think it will drive well in the snow, has good pick up, and that's it. "

Not bad but not great on gas; I imagine repairs will be expensive, though I don't expect it to need much.

"Wanted a great replacement for my current daily driver, a 1997 Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT. The 2005 is leagues ahead of the '97 in every measurable way. I chose the wagon body style for its utility and sleeper factor. What stands out about this car is can transform from docile mode of transportation to BEAST MODE in a heartbeat! And, can best the '97 in fuel mileage if driven sanely. I think it's a keeper! Obviously, it's a used car and it does have some blemishes. There are signs that this was not a pampered car. But there's enough left to create fun and lasting memories . Honestly, I haven't owned it long enough to report any mechanical issues, but so far it puts a smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel! "

"I bought for my daughter to take to college. The 4 wheel drive and handling are the greatest selling points. I recommend it for anyone who wants a reliable and dependable car."

"2005 Legacy GT Limited with manual transmission. 250 hp, turbo 4 cylinder boxer engine. I use it for the all wheel drive and the extra torque in the mountains. It is very reliable and pretty good on gas ~26 mpg. It has a rather stiff suspension and tire roll is pretty loud. Then again Im on M+S tires. Overall, it is good looking, a real joy to drive and it won't break the bank. "
