Great Car
"I love the gas mileage and the car has power to be a 4 Cylinder. We took it across country and got almost 600 miles per tank. It saved money we could use for our trip."

Best Car Ever!
"This car has been dependable for over 250,000 miles. I've driven lots of highway miles, city miles and through congested big city surface street and many lane highways where defensive driving is a necessity. It handles beautifully during evasive maneuvers, parks like a dream in tight city parallel spaces, and is generally fun to drive. It still accelerates briskly and stops on a dime when needed. On long cross-country trips it is very comfortable to drive, good control/display layout, excellent mid 40 mpg even now. I have made VERY FEW repairs, mostly just maintenance. It was subjected to the abuse of many years of soccer commutes so the light color interior looks shabby after 13 years. All amenities and systems still working except the automatic lock on the passenger door. Tons of easy storage via hatchback for luggage, Ikea runs, and Home Depot loads.. it has been the best car I've ever had which is why I haven't replaced it yet. Only cons: moderate road noise on highway, posts on the sides of front and back windshields increase bindspots, of course the cost of the hybrid battery - I replaced mine at about 135,000 miles (but worth it for the gas savings)."
Interior

4.0

Roomy, attractive, but light cloth stains easily. Posts increase blindspots.
Exterior

Sleek, aerodynamic.
Performance

Handles smoothly and nimbly. I feel safe and that the car is very responsive. Accelerates surprisingly fast when needed. Fun to drive.

Spacious front and back. Comfortable. Lots of room for family gear. Leg room good in back even for adults.
Cost

Gas mileage consistently high for 13 years (worth the cost of replacing the hybrid battery). Reasonable maintenance costs, very few repairs. Excellent quality and still operates well after 250,000 and daily commuting 40 miles, lots of bang for the buck!

2005 Prius
"This car was driven less than 5 k per year; thus, very low mileage but no way to check status of electrical battery which was disappointing. Some websites recommend hybrid battery should be checked & 're-balanced' if needed. However, local Toyota dealer stated that option is not avialble and you just have to wait until warning lights go on."
Interior

5.0

all features extremely easy to use; seats very comfortable; seems to have adequate back seat leg room; hatchback feature is very useful
Exterior

"I bought my 2005 Prius used April 2015, so I haven't owned it very long, but to date I am very happy with the vehicle. I went from a SUV to a Prius, so the savings in gas is tremendous. I love the easy of parking and I find myself more conscious of my driving. Not one day have I missed my SUV space. I highly recommend the Prius. "

"Great car, seems reliable. even after so many years, it works at 50 miles per gallon. You have to drive the prius way though. Otherwise, it will perform like a regular car. "

"Have the 2004. Solid car and expect same from this one. Put very little $ into it other than tires, oil change and the occasional headlight "
