Love my Tundra
"I purchased this Tundra used about a year ago for just over $10k it had a little over 140k. I love it, we've had no mechanical issues what so ever, runs great, no rust, ac fast and cold. It's the perfect size too, it's about as big as a new Tacoma but cost way less. "

We have fit 4 adults in this truck but is tight in the back seat, I believe younger kids would have no issues.

The only issue I have is the gas mileage, we get maybe 15/mpg but it's an older truck so we expected this.

Love Tundra
"Keep up with scheduled maintenance, find a responsive and knowledgable mechanic willing to do good work . Replace sensors, fluids, clean engine with SEAFOAM , change pvc valve, hoses, sparkplugs, brakes, battery, transmission & differential fluid as recommended and you will keep it running. Service bearings, ujoints, grease moving parts drive train and will run smooth. Toyota is built to last if you deal with known issues like engine sludge /seal leaks before they get out of control. If you have good mechanic save the engine instead of replacing it as first option. Dealerships are limited in what they do. Independent mechanics are better option if reputable and gurantee work. "

It has been expensive getting reconditioned last 2 yrs but at 180000 miles it is to be expected. Toyota Tundra is a good reliable truck when fixed right.
