Plenty of power and room
"I got the crewcab limited for trips and family. the tailgate locks, throw on a cover and rock. the 5.7 engine has tons of power. Mileage is about 15 miles/gallon combined, not great, but I knew that going in. I loooooove the roominess in the cabin. the seats in the back can be adjusted. I read online somewhere (I think wiki) that the 5.7 was tested to 800k miles. I hope so. I have been doing some tuneup work, change fluids, etc. so far worth every dime, seems to be running better w/ every update/change. I'll be honest, this puts my Silverado to shame. Even if the cabin was identical in size to the Silverado, that power...man. You just tap the gas and throws you back. I think if I got anything else besides a Tundra 5.7 down the road, I would always second guess myself if I made the right decision. I hope Tundra did not ruin me. ;-)"

Crewcab has so much room it's sick.

outside is ok; paint and coating could be better, but not horrible. the plastic way better than the Silverado.

Truck wants to go. I think gear ratios are 4.3 or 4.7 (don't recall), but it just want to go. the 5.7 is ridiculous. Just point and go. Yes, it really is that nasty.

"This is the best truck I've ever driven reliable great ride no major issues only regular maintenance and brakes. I drove 2 ford trucks and both had major issues so we traded for the tundra.Best decision ever."

Tuff truck
"Been a great truck replaced alternator and starter hub bearings at 110000 miles hub bearings could be product of running 22 inch tires they are hard on suspension but it’s still in alignment and has no bad front end parts other than the hub bearings that went out shocks still good also and the 5.7 still runs strong "

Awesome Truck
"With the largest engine they offer, this truck lives up to expectations. Very comfortable ride, the big v8 sound, the only downside is the mpg. Topping out so far just over 17mpg average on a tank. Towing a 12 ft trailer with decent weight drops the mpg to about 11. "

Ok
"Its ok. I've had to spend a lot to upgrade it to use it as a truck. Its probably nice for a city truck that is only used to commute, except the poor gas mileage. I won't buy another one as a truck unless the body is less fragile, and the gas mileage improves. It's a good vehicle, but not a good truck."
Interior

3.0

The interior is good. Lots of room for a tall guy. Headliner is falling down and it doesn't have premium features like an auto dimming rear view mirror and doesn't have visor mirror lights.
Exterior

3.0

It's made from flimsy light weight materials for "improved" gas mileage. It dents very easily and I struggle to use it like a truck. Speed sensor on the rear wheels are unprotected and break, so I had to buy aftermarket guards.
Performance

3.0

Gas mileage is not great. Known issues like cab shaking on the high way and frame rust aren't resolved. I call mine "twinkle toes" because of how poorly the traction control and limited slip works on the snow.
Cost

4.0

It holds its value and runs good with high miles.
