Mustang Steeda Q500 Convertible
"This is an awesome muscle car. Great for top down cruising at high speeds! Great performance and handling. Acceleration is off the chart. And when the super charger kicks in, well, Houston we have lift off. Not a car to get if you're concerned about MPGs."

The car does have a back seat but I've never been in it. I suspect it wouldn't be all that comfortable on a long drive.

As mentioned above, this is not a vehicle you buy for the mileage

Love it!
"I found a low miles S197 to tinker (upgrade) with and daily drive. The only complaint I have is that Ford really could have used better components to build the interior, it's all cheep plastic. It reminds me of an 80's interior when it comes to the quality of the pieces. The driveline is built like a tank and love the styling of the exterior. Overall it's great!"

Good power and really reliable 4.6 3 valve motor. Not a powerhouse but will certainly get you moving, fun to upgrade.

Lol! The two backseats are comfortable for you teens but for adults it better be a short trip. It is a sports car.

Best bang for the buck muscle car out there right now. 2005-2009 is the way to go for fun and cost right now.

California Special - fun car!
"High quality and nicely appointed car. Only 85K miles but tight as day #1; no squeaks or rattles. Original brakes. Use it as a daily driver and for trips in the summer. About 26+ highway mpg at 70+mph out of the 4.6L V8 and 5 speed manual transmission. Cruises comfortably at 80-90 mph. Strong acceleration available. I have only had it to 120mph but there was plenty left "in the tank." thought of getting a turbo or supercharger but this thing is plenty fast for me. California Special is a head turner; I still get compliments for it but then again, I baby it. On balance, no regrets."

Nicely appointed (leather, heated seats, ewasy access to controls.
Exterior

Very nice lines but I wish all the scoops and vents were actually functional.

Strong. Buy a radar detector and/or use Waze if you want to have fun. Tire are important. Mine wears A/S Continentals. I have had the performance tires and now have the grand touring ones. Not a whole lot of difference but either are much better than the stock tires.

Small back seat but who cares? Since I have the keys, I never ride there!

Since the purchase in 2008, I have replaced two ball joints totaling $600. Just oil changes, tires, and gas besides that.

Awesome Car
"This 2008 Mustang Convertible is amazing and exceptionally gorgeous. It has low mileage, was well kept and runs excellent. Although it’s a V6 and it has power and great pick up speed. I love the car and plan to keep it for many years to come. "

"Cobra is amazing! A lot of money for the car and no automated items such as GPS or Heating controls. Other than the power windows, locks and cruise. It is just 500 horse power that equals an adrenaline rush every time you start the car!"

"I was looking for a muscle car and came across a GT with low miles and a person needing to sell. With a cold air intake and a Flowmaster Outlaw exhaust and lots of chrome bits, the car ran well but too loud for me. I just installed an MBRP axle back and it is much quieter. In 2000 miles I am averaging 24 mpg, it runs well, the back seats are good for grand children and the top takes a while to operate. Pleased so far."

"I bought this car after it had been wrecked and repaired just because I wanted a new car. It was a lot less than a new car price. It is a fabulous car. Runs great, fun to drive, but my husband is too tall to sit in it comfortable so I am selling it. I hate to sell it but we just don't drive it enough. It will make someone a great car.  "
