Review
"I love this car! I've had my Taurus X for a year and a half now and I'm still loving it! The flashy rear LED brake lights. Very roomy and comfortable! Runs and drives very smooth considering the type of vehical it is! "
Interior

Its luxury. Love all the cup holders! Plenty of room. Comfortable.
Exterior

Very nice looking suv/crossover
Performance

Really good performance overall! But I think the handling and the shifting/acceleration of the car could be better.

The fact that the Taurus X being a 7 passenger, really spacious.. I would say its a very nice looking vehicle with the room of a van but the looks of a flashy crossover.

Gas mileage could be better. But over all yes a very nice dependable vehical. I am a proud owner of a 2008 Ford Taurus X Limited crossover! It definitely was a smart purchese.

Blessed find
"I found this car on a used car lot the morning it was moved there. I had been looking at the same model on another lot for $3,000.00 more and had decided to buy. Using CARFAX and one of the NMVTIS sites, (CARFAX is not NMVTIS certified but is still a must look site and, of course before you buy a car from anyone, you should run the VIN through NMVTIS) I decided before noon to go ahead with the purchase of this car. I am not a mechanic, so having the information from CARFAX and NMVTIS was essential. The NMVTIS information on the title transfers and the CARFAX projected pricing helped me to know that I was making a great deal, saving me ~$3,000 from purchasing the same car from another lot and that the car was being offered below market value, even though the dealer was making a decent profit. Bottom line, I will never buy a car without a CARFAX and NMVTIS report. The only thing that would make CARFAX better is if they also provided NMVTIS certified reports."

There is a ton of room in this car. The second row seats fold flat and the third row seat fold three different ways. Even the front passenger seat folds flat. Two zone heat, 6 disc player, front and middle row center consoles and a ton of room. Plenty of cup holders and 4 power outlets.

I personally like the look, but there is some chipping paint on the front of the hood and a minor scratch on the driver door. You'll notice the paint on the hood, but it will take a while to notice the scratch on the door. On the other hand, we are talking about a 10 year old car.

This is not a sports car. It is a big AWD station wagon. But there is no trouble getting up to highway or speeding ticket speed. There's no shake or shudder and you don't feel as it you are out of power. But, it is not as quiet at the Lincoln I drive.

We rented a Suburban to go on a family reunion. There was not as much room and it was high, making it difficult for my 92 year old uncle to get in and out. Wish we had this for that trip. middle row seats adjust forward-backward to adjust leg room. Third row split seats easily accessible both getting in and getting out. Extremely configurable.

It does like gas. You're only going to get about 14 mpg around the city. 18 on the highway. I haven't had it long enough to have a maintenance issue, but car came with a 3rd party powertrain warranty. One of the puddle lights is burned out. Eventually, I will replace that.

"Love the car. Perfect cross between a car and SUV and great for hauling the family around. It has 2 second row bucket seats so its easy for the smaller kids to get to the back row. Currently has over 100,000 miles on it and it rides great. Not one mechanical problem. Very happy with the vehicle"

"We bought it based on the car fax results, condition of the vehicle, mileage, and how it drove. I drive it everyday to work and I love it. I don't think anyone should purchase a vehicle without checking with car fax. We have bought many used vehicles without car fax and were very disappointed. Car fax is a great tool and we love it."

"Was looking to replace family minivan and a performance sedan, without sacrificing gas mileage. The Taurus X didn't disappoint! As much room as a large SUV, above 25 mpg highway, plus over 260 HP and AWD. Drives and handles like a sports sedan. Amazing all-in-one vehicle for an active family lifestyle. "
