"2008 Mercedes Benz SLK350
I bought the car used with 96,000 miles on it.
Other than needing about $3,000 worth of different repairs to get it back to road-worthy condition I would rate the car as average for a small 2 seater convertible. It is a lot of fun to drive, the acceleration is very responsive, the handling very nimble. I'm not impressed with the telematics as I cannot connect my iPhone to the vehicle, but as I said, this is a 2008 before BlueTooth.
The car also has early diagnostics, and will alert you to a problem with tire pressure, but it's too early to tell you which tire is low (one of the issues I mentioned earlier in the $3,000 in repairs is the TPM system kept coming on and off telling me one of the batteries in the sending units in the tires was malfunctioning or needed to be replaced). The trip computer is ahead of it's class, I can't get the navigation on the car to work without a Sim Card (installed by MB at a price of $600 and felt it wasn't worth it)
It's a great 2nd car, but I wouldn't spend more than what I did on something like it. I bought it for $10,000 and then found out when I was thinking of trading it for a 2016 that trade in value was only $7,000. That's my mistake for not investigating more before buying.
