2009 Malibu Review
"Overall it's a very good car, may nice features, map lights, power sun roof, information display from controls on the steering wheel, fold-down rear seats for hauling items in the trunk. This was an LTZ model so it can hard on the gas mileage if your not careful, but it's nice to have the power when you need it."
It was well laid out, everything was pretty much in reach. Nice wood accents. Good storage compartments. Good viewing to the outside, except be careful looking to the right front, the passenger side "A" pillar curving back sometimes can block a vehicle coming from the right.
I like the looks of this 7th generation Malibu. I had a 5th gen. Malibu (1999) that I liked very much, but when the 2008/2009's came out I was impressed with the styling.
The Malibu's performance is pretty decent for what it is, a mid-sized sedan.
It has good rear seat room and the heating and cooling feels comfortable in the back.
That depends on how well you take care of it. It's the 3.6 liter engine so it has a DOHC and a six speed transmission so, it's like my brother's 2006 BMW, you want to keep on top of the maintenance schedule.
