Legendary reliability
"Nothing short of a Lexus might be more reliable, I had a 2007 that had nothing break, quit, or wear out besides routine stuff in 190kmi - so this is my 2nd of this model, got it with crazy good THX sound again, also this year has the Microsoft sync upgrade to stream Pandora off my phone, and answer it through the car speakers, also voice navigation will interrupt music during use of turn by turn on Googlemaps and Waze. On the basics, it's just a quieter and more well appointed Ford Fusion or Mercury Milan with the 3.5 liter added power without sacrificing the 24mpg avg. (28hwy/20city). My own personal dislike is only the auto-dimming rear view mirror. I had a '99 Buick Park Ave with the same deal - didn't like, either - on both models it's just not dim enough or fast enough to suit me. This car used at 67kmi came with out-of-round "Radar" tires that were great up to 35 mph - As per my religion put Michelin Energy tires on - IMO nobody else in the tire biz can touch them for all around quality - the 2007 came used with BFG "Serenity" were still not as quiet, soft riding, or winter worthy as the same Michelin Energy tires I put on that, too. Consumer Reports' used car buyer's guide 2015 rated this, Milan, Fusion and Mustang as the only US badged "good bet" - glad I took that advice."

Sacrifice a little seat comfort to get the heated and air conditioned option, but a very worthy trade during seasonal extremes.

Does anyone build a car or carwash that doesn't leave the center of the rear end dirty? I'm not "moved" by the looks if it isn't black - this silver is blah, but hides road dirt/dust much better.

Much more than adequate for my needs - tears up freeway ramps and gets up to merge speeds with happiness:) Good compromise of ride quality-to-"sport" handling compared to same frame Milan or Fusion. My only Ford product gripe is that the battery seem to give no warning it's on its way out - our Edge, Milan, and last MKZ all went from start to won't in 2 days after the CD player started making noise like it was loading/unloading - I'll take that as my warning from now on...

Very low on unexpected repairs, very predictable maintenance and reliability.
