"In 2011 we decided to try buying American again, after 3 decades of foreign cars, trucks, and SUV's. We bought a loaded CXL-2 brand new. While the Buick is a very nice, plush car, it did give us lots of headaches. Among the problems that we encountered were issues with both front struts, which were replaced under warranty (of course at different times), a steering rack, also replaced under warranty, a broken seat bolster and non working seat heater, etc.in addition there were lots of niggeling little issues (annoyances) that popped up on a regular basis. Overall it wasn't the best of experiences. So at 65,000 miles we traded it in on a new Japanese SUV. I think that we're done with the American car experiment. At least fo a while."
