"The Canadian company Roadtrek offers Class-B motor homes based on the Chevy 3500 Express chassis. Roadtrek has a loyal following and its use of Chevy Express Vans and Mercedes Sprinter chassis are well received in the market place. 2019 Roadtrek 210 Populars arrive with an MSRP of ~$129,000. The Mercedes based Adventurous RS fully equipped are in the $180,000's. The driver-passenger front area is pure utilitarian Chevrolet. Plastic abounds, with dashboard fitment and functionality being not a priority with either the designers, fabricators, or assembly technicians. The Eclipse AVN4430 by FUJITSU TEN with rear view camera and TomTom navigation display screen works for the navigation, but the rear view camera is unusable. Screen image is awash in light, I expect to replace the camera. Re-routing the replacement cable will be a major task, one which I will undertake myself. Besides replacing all oils and fluids I replaced the OEM shocks with Bilstein 4600 replacement shocks. Excellent choice. The 2011-year van had 13,700 miles on it when purchased and the low mileage figured prominently in the purchase decision. Unfortunately the low mileage came with extensive under-carriage corrosion from its life in Victoria TX, 30-miles from the beaches on the Gulf Coast. Selected front suspension components and the parking brake cable will have to be replaced. Chassis components and the specially the frame had the paint system compromised and those areas will require rust treatment and repaint and in some cases replacement. The exterior paint and body hardware remain in excellent condition, as are the Roadtrek features."
