Great truck
"I bought this truck used at 9 months old and with 9000 miles on it. I've had it for 7 years. It's been a great truck! With regular maintenance, it has remained trouble free. It gets great gas mileage (unloaded) for an 8000 lb truck and pulls anything you hook to it with ease. I normally trade up every 3 to 5 years so this is the longest I've owned a vehicle and thus far I have no reason to get rid of it. The only repairs it's needed outside normal wear and tear items was a new starter... I attribute that to my short, frequent trips going from my house to my company truck. (4 blocks) other then the starter failing, it's been a very reliable vehicle. "

It's comfortable with the heated and cooled leather seats.
Exterior

Styling is aggressive with good body lines. This body has been used for many with very few adjustments over the years.

The 6.7 liter Diesel is a Beast. The low end torque it produces is impressive and it still gets good mileage unloaded. I've pulled 20,000 lbs with this truck effortlessly.

Room for 4 adults with plenty of legroom.

Initial vehicle costs to aquire are higher then I am accustomed to but after years of ownership it's paid me back enough to justify the initial purchase costs. I would buy another.

Great truck
"Overall this is a great truck. I have the 6.7 diesel. I have had the 2012 and 2014 6.7 f350s as well. I switched to 2014 and 2015 ram 3500 cummins and then ended up switching back to the Ford. All of them great all around trucks with a handful of known issues. The 2011s tend to have turbo issues however I have been lucky and the truck has 240,000 miles and the only major fix was a new fuel system. Everything else has been regular schedule maintenance. Basic maintenance I've found is easier to do on these Ford's than the rams, however bigger repairs tend to be a bit more difficult with no room to work. My truck is tuned and lifted and averages about 18mpg in the summer and 17mpg in the winter. All the interior qualities are great and I love all the cup holders! Great to hold phones or anything! The main feature I'm missing is the heated steering wheel which isn't an option on the 2011. Bellow 20 degrees the truck struggles to warm up and blow hot air unless you are driving on the highway. Starts in -15 degrees right away with zero issues without being plugged in (Ford says you don't need to plug in till -10). Has great power and will tow anything! MyKey is helpful if you own a business and want to limit the trucks speed and not allow someone to turn off traction control. Or if you have kids that drive your truck. Nice comfortable seats and plenty of room in all aspects. The touch screen is a little touchy but as long as you aren't using it while driving it's not a big deal. If you do decide to put an exhaust on and tune the truck it's not nearly as loud as the rams which can be nice, but it still has a crazy turbo sound. Tuning can add up to 200 horsepower on these trucks! My tuck has a tuner and exhaust with a 150 hp tune and it's making 584 hp and 1294 tq and it only cost me $1500! Do not tow on those power ratings by the way. Without a lift I was averaging in the high 20s for mpg with the tuner. It's a great truck and I don't regret buying it for a second. The only reason I'd sell it is to get one of the new models!"

Replace the old Dodge
"2011 F250 regular cab 8 foot box. I have only driven it about 500 miles. I find the seats comfortable and I like the big mirrors. Seems to have sufficient muscle with it's 6.2 gas engine. The ride is stiff on rough roads. But it's fun to look down at the smaller vehicles. Note that the tires are balanced with beads inside the tires "

Regular cabs really aren't made for a family vehicle.

Decent cost for purchase, the jury is still out on true cost of ownership.

"It was exactly the make, model, color and feature filled truck I was looking for at the right price. Here was a 2011 King Ranch F-250 Diesel FX4 in Metallic Bronze with Dark Brown carpet and the King Ranch interior for $10,000.00 less then book value with under 100k miles."
