"Needed a vehicle that would stand up to country living, two growing boys, and one wild Siberian Husky. Most of the major consumer magazines had the 2012 Xrterra on the best used car buy lists. It's been great so far! It's solid, runs great, handles well, and seems relatively good on gas for an SUV. And, it's a Nissan, so you know it's likely very well built.
Would recommend with two cautions: 1) Depending on the car you had before, this one can seem very 'plastic' on the inside. Not a lot of extras or added luxuries. 2) Be sure you know the differences between the S, X and Pro models. The Xterra is at a low enough price point that it becomes hard to add extras without adding to cost."
