Love this truck
"Has great power for such a large truck I have the 5.7 4x4 and gas mileage is decent but for the size of truck gas tank seems a little small. Otherwise I love the truck very pleased with it so far "

The seats are very supportive and comfortable. The storage capacity in this crew max is insane my children love the fact that back seats recline on long trips. Just came back from a trip to alabama from nc and no complaints.
Exterior

Has a more brute styling than most trucks on the market. Helps when most trucks on the road look like grocery getters.

Great car for a 12 year old car
"I like the size of the truck. It has plenty of power. I bought the base\sr5 it has a lot of features. The truck was in really good shape. The only negative I have found is it was not equipped with a back-up camera. I'm going to have one installed next week with a new radio. I need navigation. I've only had it 2 weeks but it is a great truck, only wish it got better gas mileage. You don't buy a truck for the gas mileage."

Tundra sr5
"Best vehicle I have owned. More comfortable, more space, feels solid on the road, smooth, has the power, more so than the Dodge Ram Hemi. I am so happy with the 12 model I have no interest in looking a new models. "

The mileage is about the same as a 4 Ed Dodge Ram, but the ride and comfort is worth the trade. Unlike rams 8 speed transmission that’s always working, the tundra 6 speed, silent except when you need to get around someone quick.

Toyota reliability
"This is my second Toyota and I love it. There are a few issues to keep an eye out for. Valve cover gasket leaking oil on exhaust manifold, and rear differential issues are the only issues I'm having. I have 190k miles and hope to get another 200k out of this truck. This engine and truck are capable of over 1 million miles. Look it up "million mile tundra". Toyota has focused on reliability rather than changing everything under the hood and that has its own pros and cons. I'm getting about 13-14 mpg in mixed driving. "

I paid 20k for my truck from the dealership in 2019 with 186k miles. I plan to use it for the next 10 years and get 200k miles out of it then sell it for 13k.

"Excellent and great truck and looks good it is a real good runner and the tires and lift look great and it is a great truck and the stereo sounds good."

by B Ryan on September 8, 2015

"So far so good only put a few hundred miles on it since I found it rides and drives strong. Anyone else notice the gas pedal is very touchy the slightest pressure makes the vehicle jump?"
