I'm the second owner, and had to replace brakes at 40K miles. Expensive to maintain, but hope to have the car for a long time.

A5 Coupe
"Excellent 2nd car. Looks are sleek and classy, the interior is beautiful, and performance well above average. Not for families. Cost is slightly above a normal sedan due to the mid grade gasoline."

Jury is still out
"I've had three Audi's in the past. The first two performed flawlessly (RS90 and S6). The third and last one was an Allroad and it was a major lemon. We sold it and never bought another until I saw an ad for the A5 Cabriolet. My '07 Jag XK ragtop was in mint condition with just 59,000 miles and I never had any issues with it. But, I got tired of paying to store it all winter - even with traction control, the rear-wheel drive cannot handle New England winters. So the '13 Audi A5 quattro convertible seemed like a decent option. The car has 26,000 miles on it,and is in beautiful condition. I plan to put Blizzaks on it this winter and should be able to go anywhere. It's getting 30mph + on the highway and the ride is excellent. "

Beautifully laid out. Unlike my S6, the A5 seating and trim reflects much less attention to stitching detail than in the older models. The Jag interior was meticulous but for a car that originally cost close to $100K, I guess it should.

Very nice design in every respect.

This car is a 4-cyl, turbo. After the big 8 in the Jag, I expected much less get-up-and-go but I was pleasantly surprised - the A5 has decent acceleration and plenty of passing energy when the turbo kicks in. I am a bit perplexed as to why the car is a bit jumpy when crawling in traffic but I'm told this is normal. I recently drove a new Jag XF and the ECO mode was a real pain; I would never buy a car with this feature.

This is a sporty coupe for four. The back seats are very roomy for a convertible but it's not my idea of a family car.

Time will tell. The Blizzaks will set me back $800-$1000 and when the winter is over I'll probably have to replace the P6's. With luck, I'll get at least 50-75K miles before I have to start dealing with any issues. The higher gas mileage may prove a real benefit if/when gas prices start to increase again.

"Love the car! Hate the seller! After 3 weeks wait on the seller to get the title. He decided to not sell the car, huge waste of time and I let several other opportunities pass by."

by KENMOORE on October 5, 2014

"The Brilliant Red color is one of the sharpest reds I have ever seen. This car is fast and it's not considered a sports car. It gets great gas mileage. Handles like a German sports car. I bought mine over the Internet, I got a great price but now know why. Mine has halogen headlights. I am installing new European with day time running lights , an extra 3K$. Still worth it."
