Excellent
"We’ve owned our Ford Edge for over 3 years and this has been one of the best cars we’ve owned. Excellent road trip car - so smooth and comfortable and the V6 has plenty of passing power. AWD has been excellent in all winter conditions! Reliability has been excellent as well with only 2 minor unscheduled repairs (accessory belt and brake pads/rotors). "

The leather seats in our SEL are very comfortable. Only complaint would be that there isn’t a ton of storage cubbies; and the storage area under the dash is a little cumbersome and doesn’t do a good job of hiding what’s in there.
Exterior

5.0

Very stylish. Paint and chrome have held up really well. Only issue with the exterior is the blue Ford emblem on the grill is starting to crack/break off (this seems to be an issue on many Ford vehicles of the era).
Performance

The V6 is extremely smooth and provides plenty of power. Fuel mileage is pretty good at about 18.5 MPG with mostly around town driving.

"I've had other fords before . I had no problems. This Ford is a so much different. First, our Salesman sold us to expensive of a SUV. It needed tires and brakes right away. I had the oil changed and all the sudden my power steering has gone out ."

great car
"This is my 2nd Ford Edge. I'm partial to Ford's but love the keypad entry the most. I like that I can charge my phone with my car not having to be on. This Edge was my first vehicle with "bells & whistles" and I've definitely loved every aspect. The back seat is roomy for guests and rides comfortably. Spacious storage in the back as well. "

Good Not Great
"Sync leaves a lot to be desired. High cost of ownership due to faulty technology and things that should not ever need a repair (air conditioning: blows hot on one side, cold on the other - had to be fixed twice in a year); rear-view camera is inoperable, requiring a $600 repair (not worth it); scheduled maintenance runs a minimum of $400, to a high of about $1,200. Something expensive is found at every service (oil change). Weather stripping around door and windows is cheap and doesn't last (another excessively expensive repair). This is a nice SUV with a confidence-inspiring ride. It's comfortable, and good for longer road trips as well as local driving. 20 gal fuel tank means fewer fill ups. I hope this car holds it's value as it has been 6 years and I'm ready to replace it."
Interior

Billed as "low costs to own and operate" isn't accurate at all. This has been one of the most expensive cars I've had to maintain and repair. Silly things that should never fail, in my opinion. All of the attractive technology doesn't work nearly as seamlessly as promised and, tends to need frequent updates and repairs. After 6 years, FMC is no longer supporting included technology, except through very expensive replacement/repair costs. The juice ain't worth the squeeze.

Good vehicle, fun to drive, storage sucks
"After buying it, realized there really isn't much for storage...No place to put your phone or small things. Small storage under the shifter but both sides are open and slides out when turning. Other than that, really enjoy it and love the look. "

Love the AWD in the winter. Car is wide and short and makes it feel really safe. With the AWD though it seems to drag it down a bit when accelerating. Wish it was a little snappier.
Family

Not as much room as I thought there would be. Storage space in back end is not good for family trips. Have to stack suitcases on top of each other or you can only fit 2.
Cost

Still pretty expensive for the age. Has not cost me much owning it though.
