Striking just the right balance between performance and luxury, the 2013 Infiniti G37 delivers striking sheet metal, a posh cabin and exhilarating speed. Some competitors provide better fuel economy, however.
The 2013 Infiniti G37 sedan seats five. It comes in three trims: G37 Journey, G37 Sport 6MT and G37x AWD. Coupe and convertible body styles also are available. A V6 engine pairs with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard for the G37 Journey and G37 Sport 6MT; the G37x is all-wheel drive.
The Infiniti G37 carries over unchanged for 2013.
The 2013 Infiniti G37’s aggressive styling begins up front with the brand’s iconic winged headlights dwarfing a slim grille. Fog lights provide an upscale and distinctive appearance in the lower fascia. The silhouette offers a wedged roofline and a sweeping body-side character line that emphasizes the vehicle’s rear-wheel drive orientation. In the rear, L-shaped LED taillights are a nod to the G37’s heritage. The trunk lid is accented by an integrated chrome spoiler, and prominent dual exhaust outlets complete the sporty appearance.
Base models ride on 17-inch alloy wheels. Automatic xenon headlights also are standard. Upper trims provide a sunroof and 18-inch wheels.
As expected from a luxury brand, the 2013 G37’s cabin boasts luxe materials, such as standard leather seats, and the build quality is impeccable. The seats are comfortable without being overly firm, and there is ample legroom in both the front and the back. The trunk offers a respectable 13.5 cubic feet of storage space in the sedan. Cargo capacity drops to 7.4 cubic feet in the coupe and 10.3 cubic feet in the convertible. With the top lowered, the convertible’s cargo space drops to a measly 2 cubic feet.
Standard equipment includes dual-zone automatic climate control, heated eight-way power front seats and a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel. A power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel is available up the trim line.
The 2013 Infiniti G37 sedan comes with a 3.7-liter V6 that cranks out 328 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. On the coupe and convertible, it generates 330 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. That powerplant pairs with a six-speed manual transmission on the G37 Sport sedan. A seven-speed automatic is standard on the G37 Journey and G37x sedans.
Fuel economy is an estimated 19/27 mpg city/highway in the G37 Journey, 17/25 mpg for the G37 Sport and 18/25 mpg in the G37x.
It’s hard to find fault with the behind-the-wheel experience that the G37 provides. The powerful V6 offers blazing acceleration. Building on that, the G37 also provides solid handling, responsive steering and a confident presence, especially while carving corners. The ride is smooth and supple, even over rough roads. If there’s a gripe, it’s that the cabin can get a bit noisy at higher speeds.
The 2013 G37’s infotainment system revolves around a 7-inch display. Also standard are Bluetooth phone connectivity, a rearview camera and a six-speaker sound system with a CD player, satellite radio and an iPod/USB interface. Rear parking sensors, a 10-speaker Bose sound system, a navigation system and Bluetooth streaming audio are available on higher trims.
The Technology package for the G37 Journey and G37x brings in adaptive cruise control with collision mitigation braking, automatic wipers and a climate control system with an air purifier.

"Original owner and have kept up with the regular maintenance schedule. Haven't had any issues other than tire pressure warning. Possibly bad sensor valves. Dealer has fixed the issue but problem continues. Car runs great, fun ride, handling etc. Even decent in snow, AWD version."
For a sport car it has decent room for moving some boxes when 2 back seats are lowered. Has pass through trunk. I have 2 door coupe. Otherwise a good sporty interior.
I have the 2 door sport coupe and the exterior is really sharp looking with the extra trim and custom wheels. Get many compliments on it.
Great acceleration and nimble handling. Fun to drive.
Adequate at best, small rear seat area room. Not a family car.
Decent mpg and no mechanical issues other than tire replacement etc
