cheap thrills
"I love this car. it's just fun. the combo of all-wheel drive and a light and low little hatchback makes it a joy to drive. it's not going to win any races, but it's got some giddy up and go. I can fit such an unreal amount of random crap in it my friends call it the "Mary Poppins Car." it's reliable, it's comfortable, I feel safe in it, and Subaru has taken good care of both of us, despite me being the third owner. it's done everything I've asked it to do with zero problems."

Love My SubiDoo
"Wonderful vehicle for female drivers needing or wanting extra confidence while driving here in Colorado's Bi-Polar weather. The AWD is amazing in the snow! Very reliable !"

A good car, but a bit disappointing
"I've wanted a Subaru for awhile now - and my first foray into the brand was via the Impreza. Let me say up front, that there are a lot of things to love about this car. It has pretty good performance (compared to the other models I've driven), and is definitely safe. But there were multiple recalls, and a major problem (that should have been a recall but was settled out of court) that resulted in my dropping $1000 on the car - AFTER I fought Subaru for the other 75% of that cost. I'm sure recalls are part of owning any car, but it's definitely driven down my overall happiness with my experience. And after finding out my short block had to be rebuilt for an issue that should have been taken care of immediately after its discovery? I stopped feeling the love. I'll definitely look at Subarus when I'm ready for my next car, because they're still good cars - but now I'll be shopping a variety of cars, and I won't let brand ideology cloud my judgement. "

The sun visor falls out if it's socket, and unless you pay hundreds for a special scotch guarding the seats show wear and tear quickly. The bucket seats are comfortable to me, but my husband is over 6ft and often uncomfortable.

Sleek and smooth.

Awesome. This car can really get up and go, which I love. The oil burning was certainly a let down, but as long as the oil tank was full the performance was great.

For a little car, it sure fit a lot and has a decent amount of space. The seats show wear and tear really quickly though, and should be babied or protected if you want them to retain a new car appearance.

A great car. But definitely pricier in some areas than I'd like.
