2013 Prius, Series 4 w/ Solar Roof
"Fun to drive! The solar roof feature is great: when stopping for a nap at a rest area, it keeps the temperature inside the car cooler and the air flowing."

It's well thought out! My husband is over 6' and I am only 5' 4" but the driver seat, steering wheel and mirrors are easy to adjust. Love the lumbar support. Plenty of room for storage when you need it and it's easy to fold down the rear seats.

Great power going up the mountain passes; I was concerned about this with it being a hybrid, but no problems at all!

No problem getting the grandkids' car seats/boosters in the back!

Very economical: drove from Miami to Seattle for $250!

Nice vehicle
"The accessory battery was apparently on it's last legs when we bought the car, but it's simple enough to replace. A bit pricy, though. Everything works great and the mileage in darned good @ >44mpg. Not as good as my 2013 Volt @855mpg, but that's an unfair comparison."

Instruments could be better (again, spoiled by the Volt) but it's roomier than the Volt in the rear and it actually has a spare, albeit a donut. The view through the rear window is not so great...
Exterior

Not the best styling but it's practical and rugged

It's far from zippy but you won't get this kind of mileage from a zippy car. More than adequate for the teenager driving it.

Enough room for four and shopping.

If the battery is any indication, parts aren't going to be cheap...

"There are several reasons why I purchased my Prius. 1. I have several friends and associates who own Prius and one person who is on her third Prius. Everyone gave them great reviews. 2. I admit that I love my Mercedes Benz. After drive it everyday for two years, I realized the expenses and knew that I had to add a new addition to the family. Now, it is my going out on the weekend car. Do not get me wrong, the Prius is also a great going out to dinner car as well. 3. I love the cargo space in the Prius. 4. This is the most cost efficiency auto that I ever own."

"My third Prius, 2005 bought new, went 400k miles before totaled in accident, bought 2007 used with 113k miles and now has 243k which I gave to my daughter, now purchased 2013 with 110k miles. Can you say are reliable! No hybrid battery changes, great gas mileage and fun to drive. If you purchase used, buy from original owner who has the maintenance records then get the car fax for comparison and peace of mind."

"Only drawback to Prius is vehicle has limited acceleration. Car is very efficient. I have been realizing 45-47mpg during summer months withair condt running in car. Interior amenities are plenty with HD radio and bluetooth standard along with very good speaker system. Very happy with vehicle purchase."

"LOVE this car! It gets far better gas mileage than anticipated or expected. Our mechanic says they are fantastic cars, and if you take care of them, they have very few issues. The only thing we were a bit disappointed in is the electric only mode. When running in this mode, you can't go faster than 25 miles an hour, which is highly impractical. So traveling anywhere in "electric only" mode is almost impossible. If you hit 26 miles an hour, it goes back to gas. Other than that, the car is wonderful. "
