The 2014 Ford Edge is a midsize crossover SUV that seats five passengers, and it’s sold in four trims: SE, SEL, Limited, and Sport. This Ford may be equipped with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The Edge rolls into the 2014 model year with no major changes.
Its relatively low, broad-shouldered stance and large chrome grille help the Edge to stand out on the road. Notable design cues include tapered headlights, a raked windshield and a tall beltline.

"Be aware Ford Company made a bad design on the Power Transfer Unit for AWD after just a few miles get busted and need replacement and Ford is not announced a Recall .They put a cooler system on cars outside USA and on police vehicles but not for consumers cars. That mean you must besides your regular oil change you must change the oil of your front transfer case every 10 o 20 thousands miles and remember there is not draining plug to do it .Another reason why the PTU ends busted in just a few miles and you paid 1500 in parts and 1300 in labor. If no one believe me you can reach me and I have proof on that "
PTU don’t have draining plug and Ford don’t care about you paying for replacement
"Quiet, comfortable and reasonably economical.
My only complaint is the very slow throttle body on the fuel system. If you have the need for sudden acceleration, this isn't the car for you. If you need a family hauler, perfectly suited."
Comfortable and supportive seats, easy to operate dash controls.
This is a taller car with good ground clearence.
clearance. I mentioned earlier, slow throttle response.
Good for 5 and a dog in the back hatch.
Reasonable on gas and operating costs. Insurance is fairly economical as well for this car.
"Loved my Durango, but needed better mileage... I like the Edge.
Plenty of power( on the road), mostly enough room for what I haul, heated seats, comfortable, about 330 miles per fillup( highway)... biggest complaint is I do not feel as comfortable with big snow like in the Durango for obvious reasons"
"It was an affordable small SUV with a lot of features for the price. Buyer stay away from the Ford Edge. Vehicle exhaust comes inside through the AC unit. We reported the problem to Ford two months after purchase, it has been a year now. Ford doesn't have a fix for the problem and will NOT buy the vehicle back as a Lemon. Really sad situation. Buyers Beware!" Read Less

"Needed more room so purchased a 2014 Ford Edge, used from a dealer. Great gas mileage for such a large vehicle. Ride quality is average. Rear suspension was upgraded in 2016 so if you can afford newer, do it. " Read Less
