With its luxurious cabin and generous array of high-tech amenities, the 2014 Infiniti QX80 is a top choice among large SUVs. The QX80 also brings strong driving dynamics to the table, offering agile handling and crisp acceleration.
The 2014 Infiniti QX80 is a full-size luxury SUV that may be configured to seat seven or eight passengers. Both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive are available, and the QX80 is sold in a single generously equipped trim.
For 2014, the QX80 gets a name change; it was previously known as the Infiniti QX56. Also, the available Technology package adds backup collision intervention to its lineup of bundled features.
With its tall, upright stance, the QX80’s sheet metal has a retro, old-school vibe. The front fascia features a curving grille that bears Art Deco influences, and it’s flanked by swooping headlights. The QX80’s profile reveals flat side panels and a high beltline.
All models are equipped with 20-inch wheels, automatic bi-xenon headlights, LED taillights, heated power-folding side mirrors with auto-dimming capability, body-colored running boards, a power liftgate, roof rails, fog lights and a power sunroof. The options list includes adaptive headlights, headlight washers and 22-inch wheels.
The QX80’s cabin features an appealing design and upscale materials. The first two rows offer ample amounts of space, but the third row will be confining for most adults. With all seats in place, the QX80 provides 16.6 cubic feet of cargo capacity, and this figure expands to 49.6 cubic feet with the third row folded. With the second and third rows folded, cargo capacity comes in at 95.1 cubic feet.
The list of standard interior amenities includes power windows and door locks, tri-zone automatic climate control, a power-adjustable tilt-and-telescoping steering column, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 60/40-split folding second-row seat, a reclining fold-flat third-row bench seat, second-row captain’s chairs, heated power-adjustable front seats and leather upholstery. Available upgrades include heated second-row outboard seats and a second-row bench seat.
With the QX80, you enjoy secure handling and brisk acceleration. The SUV is motivated by a 5.6-liter V8 good for 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque, and gears are shifted by a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and four-wheel drive is available for those traveling in challenging weather conditions.
Both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive models achieve mileage of 14/20 mpg city/highway, and the QX can tow up to 8,500 pounds.
The QX80 comes with an exhaustive list of technology features. Standard amenities include Bluetooth phone and streaming audio, a USB port, satellite radio, auxiliary input jacks, a CD/MP3 player, a Bose 13-speaker sound system, keyless entry and ignition, an 8-inch touch screen, navigation, voice recognition and real-time traffic information.
The list of available upgrades includes adaptive cruise control and a rear-seat entertainment system with dual 7-inch color monitors and two wireless headphones. Forward collision warning with automatic braking, blind spot warning, lane departure warning, a 15-speaker Bose sound system and backup collision intervention are also offered.

Only traded for lower payment and interest "
"Last year, I bought my QX80 fully loaded used (4 years old) with about 85k miles on it. On the surface that looks like a lot, but this car still drives like new! Highly recommend looking for one that has all the active safety features!"
Very classy and luxurious
You either love it or hate it, but with the right wheels it’s a great looking car.
Engine has plenty of power.
100% personal preference, but I would have loved the version without the captain chairs, makes the backseat so much more functional.
