Great Roadster
"Purchased this car with about 37,000 miles on it. Perfect condition. Excellent fuel economy. Had it about 6 months now and had zero problems or issues. Great fun to drive. Not a family car!"
Interior

Interior is nicely appointed with lots of "stuff". Arrangement is typical Mercedes-Benz, which may take a few trips for those familiar with US cars to get used to. Could use a little more storage space for phones, etc.
Exterior

Looks great.
Performance

Excellent acceleration, braking and handling. Has 4 cylinder turbocharged engine and excellent fuel economy. Has transmission options of Performance, Manual (paddle shifters) or Economy.
Family

It only has two seats and not a lot of cargo space. Trunk has a divider which must be in the restricted position to operate the convertible roof. Not a family car.

Even used it isn't cheap, but it sure is fun to drive.

SLK55 AMG
"I bought this "used" car with 602 miles on it. It was leased by a Chevy dealership owner who collects cars and only drove this one about 175 mi. per year. It was like getting a brand new car for 55 cents on the dollar and it still has 10 months on the original warranty! The car is showroom perfect, completely loaded, Mars Red, black ash trim and designo leather. The only thing is the leather is white and I worry about keeping it clean but I guess I'll just have to suffer... :)"

High grade designo leather. Veriny intuitive, great LCD display. 6 CD/DVD, Chip reader, bluetooth, 11 speaker Harmon Kardon that sounds fantastic. Beautiful wood trim. Magic sky pano roof, great looking instrument panel with LCD to check everything from tire pressure to service schedule... It's a wonderful experience.
Exterior

Perfect, not a mark on it, no swirls, nothing.
Performance

416 HP and 0-60 in 4.1 - .2 seconds, 19 - 28 MPG with the normally aspirated V8 5.5 litre utilizing the ECO option it turns of 4 cylinders when cruising, it also turns off the engine at stop lights and auto-magically brings it back to life when you release the brake pedal or step on the gas pedal. It does this by "knowing which cylinder is most ready to fire, firing it and restarting... It's very smart and you cannot even feel it when the engine changes from 8 to 4 or 4 to 8 cylinders. You can of course turn that off, drive in 3 modes of Manual(shift with the steering wheel paddles or the shift knob), Comfort for normal drives, or Sport to gear up shifting and change the suspension/handling... Overall it kicks ass and compares quite favorably to Porsches and Corvettes.

Is any 2 seat roadster with a small trunk "family friendly" unless there's just you and another in your family?

Gas wise for what it is it's great, almost too good to be true. Maintenance wise it is a bit costly but hey, isn't any great high end motor/sports car?

not what i expected
"The car has been in the shop almost the same amount of time that I have been able to drive it. In fact I am getting ready to take it back again. I seem to be having the same problem with the transmission or something to do with it. they can never find the problem and seem to think it is the way I drive the car. this might be true if it had not happened to my Husband also. well we will see this time what they have to say.
