Always wanted this since the show car
"absolutely the best, most engaging, involving fund car I've had overall and consider that I have a Manual C7 Corvette Convertible. Obviously its faster and sounds great but its limits are so high and it call so much attention to itself that I get away with more handling, acceleration and speed in the Volt. Built like a tank, rock solid, substatial for it's size, so many adjustable ways to drive it, fuel it, brake, acceleration, cruise. Super flat cornering feel, like the Corvette due to similarly low center of gravity. it's like playing a video game all the time trying to maximize battery life or reduce gasoline usage. the low fuel use encourages me to go so many more places than I might in a less economical vehicle. I look forward to driving it and it's kinda cool. People ask about it. its fun"

Driving on a Dime
"Chevrolet virtually eliminated the number one reason people don't drive electric vehicles. A Volt runs on electric 100% of the time. The 1st 38 miles are powered by the vehicles on board batteries. Then the vehicles gas engine engages powering an on board generator, supplying the electric energy needed to propel the Volt's electric motor. What that does is eliminate the anxiety of being stranded or shackled to a charger in order to drive outside an available charger network. My car is stylish, powerful, nimble and capable! It is my hope that GM will introduce new vehicles using the Voltec drivetrain."

The interior is stylish and functional. The seats are very comfortable even on road trips. The cargo area is large and easily accessed. In my opinion, the interior of my 2015 Volt is superior to other similarly classed vehicles in both fit and finish.
Exterior

5.0

The first generation Volt (through 2015) is unique and timeless. The Volt is attractively designed and still aerodynamic. No awkward appearances or mundane style ques. The Volt is timeless.
Performance

5.0

Nearly immediately after putting the accelerator to the floor, the Volt unleashes 273 lb ft torque. The 110 kWh electric motor delivers a 0-60 in about 9 seconds flat and 0-30 in about 3.4 seconds. The ONLY electric/hybrid vehicle faster to 30 is Tesla. The car handles the road very well. Even when driven aggressively on the low rolling resistance resistance energy efficient tires, the car corners well. Put the shifter in "L" and increase your regenerative braking to recharge the batteries and save on braking.
Family

While seating is for only 4, there is plenty of room for parents and two kids. There is plenty of room in the trunk for a weekend road trip. The entertainment system provides ample sound quality to liven up the ride.

This is where the Volt shines. The car's batteries provide up to 38 pure electric miles with a full charge. Most commutes are accomplished by battery. The 10 kWh battery can be charged for about a dollar a day. Maintenance to the gas engine is far less frequent than a fully gas powered vehicle. Regenerative braking helps reduce wear on the brake pads and rotors too.

Trim is a Premier NOT a base ,color Silver topaz (light silver blue) loved the color
"Best vehicle ever owned several hundred pounds heavier than 2019. Smooth ride like a Cadillac. Excellent accerlation , heated leather seats navigation built in. Grarge door opener, 2019 lacks this " unbelievable." Remote starting with your phone miles away. I'm sorry I traded it would have kept for 2nd vehicle. Reason I wanted 2019, I wanted last great anxiety free electric vehicle, adaptive cruise, automatic braking and lane assist for easier driving"
