Used a great value because of Equus name
"What this car really is is a 5-liter Genesis, and you can get off-lease used ones for cheap because Equus is an abandoned brand that nobody ever heard of even when they were marketing it. Quite a bit heavier than the 3.8 liter Genesis, and the mileage is only around 23 on the highway. But it has a lot of nice extra features and has all the reliability and quality of the Genesis."

Nice detailing of wood panels in the dash.

Essentially, it's just like the Genesis except for a few styling changes. Nothing exciting, but paint quality is quite good.

This is in no way a sports car -- it's an executive's car. If you're really nuts (shifting into neutral to coast, rather than decelerate) you can get 30 MPG on the highway...but realistically it's 23 highway and 18 or less in the city (stop-and-go in San Francisco's hills is more like 13). Very solid and heavy, handling is neutral but not tight.

Spacious, particularly the back seat. If you get the ultimate edition, you get two independent DVD players in the back for the kids. Has USB outlets to charge all your tablets/phones...

The big deal on cost is its used-car price, which has deflated since the abandonment of the Equus brand. The car is still produced under the Genesis name. I bought mine off lease, with 24k miles on it...
