"I have always owned large SUV’s. The Gx is notably smaller than a Suburban or Tahoe. My last GM had issues and I was fed up investing 40k in used luxury SUV’s with problems. I was the guy who would never buy a foreign car, but I said enough’s enough. I bought a certified Gx with 46k and, although used, after driving it for 8k I am confident in its abilities and quality. I will likely keep it forever and would definitely buy another for other family members. It feels sturdy/safe, turns on a dime, and has loads of power. It has luxury features, but can also likely outperform most other SUV’s on the road or off. I only wish it were a little bigger. I miss the storage behind the third row of my yukon xl. However feeling like you got what you paid for and having a car that is going to take care of you as long as you take care of it makes it worth it for me. The radio/navigation interface is a little awkward and it gets poor gas mileage, but I knew this going in. It also requires premium gas so keep that in mind if you’re a cheapskate. Also if you want remote start you have to subscribe to Lexus’ version of on-star and use an app on your phone. I think it should come standard and not charge a fee for this feature. I was fine with these aspects before the purchase and have no regrets. I have Peace of Mind that I own a car that is safe/reliable that I don’t have to worry about."
