My 2016 new/used Highlander XLE
"I love this car & decided to buy used..It is difficult for me, learning how to navigate through all the new bells & whistles; as I had my 2005 LE for fourteen years..I just try to learn a little at a time...However, it is worth it!!"

Nice! :)
"It's a great car, drives great! I have black leather trim - bucket seating in 2nd row - which fold flat as needed!!!. Fully automatic adjustable driver seat with lumbar support! Heated seats in front...It doesn't get the best fuel economy for a family / work vehicle.... but I am not overly concerned. It has alot of great features, including a moonroof, push button start, tech package, etc.... Bluetooth is great... no issues connecting. I dont think the driver easy speak is the best but it helps... and the voice command prompts doesn't always hear command as quickly as I'd like... I have to repeat myself if window or car noise is in excess... I can search for nearby attractions, supermarkets, gas stations, etc ... using yelp... I wish it came with the Toyota Safety Sense that's included with the newer models... it has multiple music options including Sirius xm, pandora, I heart radio, am/fm, a disc player... can connect using YouTube and so on... if you have a subscription!!! Also, the 3rd row is a bit on the small side so it's not great for adults.. maybe smaller children! Not enough leg room. I dont personal use all the time but it folds down and gives ample trunk space!!! I purchased the weather tech window rain guards after vehicle purchase which work as intended! As well as the Husky floorliners which fit as they should. And the trunk liner when needed... overall happy with purchase and highly recommend! I had a small 4 door car and wanted a bigger vehicle for my growing boys.. this works perfect! Alot of room and comfortable ride!!! Have had for a year now and would not consider another vehicle or model!!! "

Has USB in front and rear! As well as 2 prong 110v outlet in 2nd row. With it's own heating and cooling panel on back of middle console, between 2nd row bucket seats! The temperature can be controlled in front as well as rear!!! Has seating for 7 and rides great for trips...

Average to good maybe! Approximately 20 miles city/ highway per gallon on average. Car record is helpful in keeping track...regular maintenance schedule...

Solid so Far
"It is early but so far we really like it. It accelerates well. We feel safe. I've had a hard time, of all things, figuring out the headlights, but I'll get there. Getting to the far back seat isn't completely simple, but given how much better it handles than a minivan it is worth it. "

Nice ride
"The 2016 limited platinum has the features of newer models. It has safety sense, puddle lights by front doors. The voice command works very well and I can tell it to play a song and it works. Gas mileage in city @ 18 mpg"

Outstanding Car
"Love the car! It looks brand new and drives like a dream. The interior is in great shape, no scratches or worn spots in the leather. The front floor mats are still wrapped in the plastic that came on them. It has several great features, such as heated and cooled front seats, blind spot monitoring and the sound system is great. The exterior is has been well maintained. Toyota has not changed the exterior of the Highlander in a few years, so just looking at the car you can't tell it is not brand new. The car was everything that my CARFAX report claimed it would be."
Interior

5.0

It is roomy and comfortable, controls are easy to get to and use. There are still a few options that I haven't master yet, but I will. For a used vehicle the interior was in excellent shape. For me, the greatest features on this car are the blind spot monitoring and back up camera. My old car did not have these.
Exterior

5.0

The exterior is very nice. Beautiful paint, no dings and the lighting on the car is excellent. It is a very nice looking car.
Performance

5.0

The performance is good. It has met all my expectations. I do wish it got 35 miles to the gallon, but that is unrealistic for an SUV of this size. The gas mileage is what I expected it to be and pretty close to what the manufacturer claims it to be.
Family

Yes, very family friendly. My granddaughters love the fact that it has quad seating. Now, there is no fussing over who sits in the front. The leather seats make clean up easier and with the third row seating we have room for friends. I wish the cargo space was a little more roomy with the third row seat up, but we make do and have plenty of room when we have that seat down.

Finding this particular SUV used was a great deal for me. I knew I wanted a Toyota Highlander, but could not afford the cost of a new one. I had been looking for months to find just what I wanted at a price I could afford. This vehicle was it. I had seen several Highlanders that were a year older and had double the miles priced the same or even more expensive. So, for me this vehicle was cost effective.
