Perfect in almost every way
"I have the Crewmax Limited edition, and it's a terrific truck. Full of power and solidly built. If I had a knock, it would be the terrible gas mileage, but I didn't buy the truck for the mileage; so all in all, I'm happy. "

The interior is HUGE. I took the Tundra Crewmax on a 600-mile trip with my family of five and a dog, and we had no problems.

The gas mileage is the only ding, but it's not the end of the world - nor was it the reason I bought the truck.

20 year Ford driver takes the challenge
"I have to honestly say that I was a die hard Ford man for many years. While shopping for a new truck I experienced a new love for the Toyota Tundra I just had to change. I was so surprised at the power and all the amenities my 2016 SR5 have me. I was in denial of owning anything else but a Ford I almost lost my chance to own my Tundra. Absolutley the best truck I have ever driven or owned witn exceptional performance and dependability. I am so happy with it I cant wait to buy my next one."

Great all-around truck
"I bought my Crewmax to have room for 3 kids car seats, which the Crewmax certainly has. My 3 kids can open the rear door, climb inside the cab, and have ample room to walk around to the other side and climb into their car seats. For a pickup truck, that says a lot. I’ve been happy with the Toyota reliability, and the 5.7L V8 has plenty of power for towing a smaller trailer and hauling materials for landscaping projects, etc. We’ve driven across country on vacations in the Tundra because it provides room for all our luggage in the bed with a tonneau cover, plus a ton of cabin room for everyone to be comfortable (even on a 16-hour drive with 3 kids)! The fuel mileage isn’t impressive (16 mpg avg), no matter how conservative I drive. The infotainment system is behind-the-Times compared to other brands. The suspension isn’t very impressive either, compared to other brands. But hey, for under $40k new, to have a truck that does all the weekly chores for a family, it’s been a great truck for us! I sooooo wish they’d offer the Tundra in a HD version with a diesel. -Like the dually concept they did for SEMA. I’m shopping for a 5th wheel camper and have had to reluctantly shop for a big-3 HD truck."

Just enough creature comforts, very comfortable. Only wish I could have had the 38 gallon gas tank SR5 Crewmax with the 20/40/20 front seat.
Exterior

3.0

The paint and clear coat are thin. Scratches and chips way too easily.
Performance

The 5.7 is powerful, but thirsty compared to other brands.

Lots of “truck” for the money. Very reliable.

Second Tundra
"This truck is much different than my previous 2010. It feels bigger, the mirrors are larger and it rides much better. It’s taken me almost a month to get used to it. I enjoy driving this truck everyday. The one thing I wish I could change is the Entune system. It is basically useless and has many quirks. I like the fact that I can receive texts thru it however I can not respond by voice text thru it. The Entune app is useless and it isn’t compatible with the model year even though it will identify the vehicle. All functionality doesn’t work. The rest of the truck is absolutely solid and it’s better on gas than my previous was. This is, in my opinion one of the best model year for this truck. I’ve drive a brand new one and prefer the 2016. "
Interior

Very comfortable, simple controls and easy to reach. Entune gets a D-.
Exterior

Great lines, solid and great looking.
Performance

Gas mileage is better than I expected for a V8 truck. It’s by no means fuel efficient but I didn’t buy it because it’s good on gas. Still between 16-18 around town, 21-ish on the highway.

Great Truck
"The Toyota Tundra is a great reliable p/u. They perform extremely well over an extended lifespan, and I have modified them to haul heavy loads. Tundra has never failed me over many miles of tough, challenging service."
