Porsche 911 Cabriolet
"Great car. This is my third 911 and the best yet. Both more power and handling for sporty driving but also more comfortable for relaxed cruising. Very high quality materials throughout and simple, elegant design - inside and out."
Interior

5.0

Excellent space and comfort for a sports car. For a two seater, there is quite a bit of storage room.
Exterior

5.0

Beautiful, evolutionary design. The 911 just gets better and better. Though, I got this 9191.2 intentionally as I do not like the 2020 design look quite as well as my 2018 car.
Performance

5.0

Performance is spectacular. My first 911 was an S. This one, and its predecessor were base Carreras which have way more than enough power for any driving I ever do. Lighter and sportier, with a little less power, is appealing to me.

As long as you want a 2 seat car, this is. A great one and much more useable than most two seaters. my wife likes this car fine. I got the 14 way seats this time (rather then the more articulated 18 way seats last time) as my wife thought the 18 way seats were a little hard to get into and out of.

My history of owning 5 Porsches says that they are very well made, virtually never need repairs, and hold value extremely well. So, this $100+K car is actually quite cost effective.

When your wife tells you you need a new car you pull out all the stops
"I had a 911 convertible with a six speed that I absolutely loved and was in great shape but the wife said I should have something newer so I found a good deal on an 18 911S convertible in guard's red with a PDK. I love the car and it is bloody quick and the handling is phenomenal. But step on the gas and you get a 4 second burst of adrenaline. The PDK shifts faster than I can think. If she gives me the opportunity to do it again, I may look to a 911 with a stick. Not as fast but much more engaging. Either way I don't see not having a Porsche. Once you have one you never want to be without one."
Interior

It's new and modern, sound system is much improved, can still hear the exhaust note especially in sport mode. With the top down its amazing.
Exterior

5.0

It's guards red with black wheels - it just looks ready to fly.
Performance

Incredible - but punch the gas and it takes off. Scares the bejesus out of my wife.

Family friendly enough for me and what it is.

I don't know if you could get this much car dollar for dollar. Is it good on gas - I don't know. Is maintenance expensive - yes. Is the insurance higher than on my other cars - yep. Is it worth it - absolutely!
