The 2019 Infiniti QX60 creates a relaxing environment for passengers, and they’ll likely appreciate its forgiving ride quality and quiet cabin. This luxury SUV also offers generous cargo capacity, so it’s a good pick for those who need a vehicle that provides ample room for their belongings.
Infiniti’s QX60 is a midsize crossover SUV that competes in the luxury segment. It’s often cross-shopped against luxury crossovers like the Acura MDX, Audi Q7 and Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class. This three-row SUV seats up to seven passengers and is sold in two trim levels: Pure and Luxe. All models are powered by a V6 engine, and buyers can choose between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
For 2019, the Infiniti QX60 has restructured and renamed its trim levels.
The QX60’s exterior design is sculpted and muscular. Its bulging hood gives this model an athletic look. The trajectory of its swooping beltline is mirrored by creases that add character to its side panels. In back, wide headlights slice through this Infiniti’s rear hatch.
Base models are equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, body-colored front and rear bumpers, a chrome grille, chrome door handles and window molding, automatic xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights, rear privacy glass, LED fog lights, heated power-folding side mirrors with integrated turn signals, a power liftgate and a power sunroof.
Options include 20-inch wheels, a gesture-controlled liftgate, a roof rack with side rails and cross bars, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a dark chrome grille and a second- and third-row sunroof with a power rear sunshade.
While it’s not as overtly luxurious as the cabins seen in some rivals, the QX60’s interior provides a welcoming space. Its dash curves gently to encircle the front passengers. The first two rows offer spacious seating, but the third row is best suited for kids.
The QX60 offers ample room for your stuff. It provides up to 16 cubic feet of cargo space with all seats in place and up to 40.5 cubic feet with the third row lowered. With the second and third rows lowered, you can expect up to 76.2 cubic feet of cargo capacity.
Base-model QX60 luxury SUVs are equipped with simulated leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a six-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, heated front seats, 60/40-split folding second-row seats, 50/50-split folding third-row seats, a power-adjustable tilt-and-telescoping steering column and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Standalone options and option packages bring in features like leather seating, driver memory settings, entry/exit assist for the driver’s seat and steering wheel, heated outboard second-row seats, cooled front seats and a heated steering wheel.
Infiniti’s QX60 provides smooth handling that shields passengers from rough road surfaces, and its cabin remains serene even at highways speeds. All models are governed by a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available for those who need added traction in rain or snow.
The sole engine choice is a 3.5-liter V6 that provides 295 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. According to the EPA, the QX60 achieves fuel economy of up to 20/27 mpg city/highway. This crossover can tow up to 5,000 pounds.
Shoppers will appreciate the QX60’s broad range of available tech features. Base models are equipped with a six-speaker stereo, a USB port, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitoring system, satellite radio, auxiliary audio input jacks, keyless ignition, Bluetooth connectivity, a rearview camera and an 8-inch display.
With the Essential package, you can bring in navigation, a surround-view camera and voice recognition. The Theater package adds a rear-seat entertainment system with two 8-inch monitors. With the ProActive and ProAsisst packages, you get driver-assist amenities like adaptive cruise control, a lane-departure warning system and front and rear parking sensors.

"Really love most things about this car. Roomy, has power, very comfortable ride. Only complaint is that it is missing some of the technology/entertainment I would expect to be standard on a luxury vehicle. Mainly with ApplePlay and App sync with iPhone. "
